Overall in good condition compare to age- difficult to find better condition now. Some traces od age and service. Clear descriptions around, box spend years in Normandy barn. ORIGINAL WWII US ARMY M1 HELMET SHELL, FRONT SEAM.   

WW2 US ARMY WW2 USMC CANVAS MAP CASE BAG BOYT COMPLETE NAMED & DATED 1941. This is a very rare original WW2 US Army map case, dated 1941. The maker name is stamped above the date BOYT. Named by the previous owners US Officer JOHN E. FINCH and Israeli officr name ZECHARIA EFRON. Some stains, otherwise the bag is in good condition. A great WW2 original item that served two countries.    Some cosmetic scratching and imperfections, but all labels and graphics look amazing considering the age. The module was used in training versions of pursuit aircraft with instrument flying hoods installed, such as the P-40. Pitot-statically-driven as evidenced by its rear ports marked S (static pressure) and P (pitot pressure), the unit would automatically release the instrument flying hood when the aircraft approaches airspeed limits, lower or upper from 100-400 MPH, which could lead to a stall, as set by the pilot, or by the ground crew pre-flight.
