Japanese Army Officer Sword In Civilian Mount 27 1/4 Cutting Edge Ww2

   This is an example of a Japanese Army Officer Sword in Civilian Mount that dates from the World War 2 Era. It is mounted with a Shin Shinto Era blade that wears a cutting edge of 27 1/4 inches in length. The blade has a couple of nicks to the cutting edge but could be remedied in the right hands as well as has some surface blemishes and the unsigned tang wears one hole. This Sword is mounted with a Civilian type hilt, beautiful old iron fittings and an old iron tsuba that all remain nice in their condition.
