The M-1943 was first issued in 1944 and quickly gained popularity among Army and Marine troops. It continued to be used even during the Korean conflict until it was replaced by the M-1950/1951. Very nice example, still has cutter tags! Did find several small moth nips to the knit collar, a couple on sleeve, and a couple surface nibbles to front of jacket, so please see close up pics closely! Tagged size 12L, measures in at 18" pit to pit, 24.75" shoulder seam to end of knit cuffs, 24" length from rear collar seam down center back, and 15.25" shoulder to shoulder.
