This is an extremely fine World War II 1st type Luxenberg 2-inch pilots wing in excellent condition. The obverse exhibits the classic Luxenberg shape and fletching to the wing feathers. The reverse is complete with original pin assembly which is complete and fully functional. The beautiful Luxenberg, NY logo is on the reverse of the center shield. The actual measurement of the wing is 2 inches from wing tip to wing tip. The sterling silver is now nicely toned. Simply the most beautiful Army Air Corps wing to come out of the Second World War.
