Original Wwii Army

This is an original R-14 headset. This is an original set that was picked up in the 1950's from a Laughlin Army Air Field base sale. Of course it became a USAF air field in 47'. These are in very good condition and are very well marked with the maker and proof stamps. These would be an excellent addition to a WWII pilots soft helmet or WWII tankers helmet.    Original and scarce WWII US Army M1938 tanker helmet. Hard composite construction with original leather lining. Original and scarce radio receivers with correct Y-shape cable and PL-54 black plug and R-14 radio receiver. A small square pad has been inserted between the top of the leather liner and the crown (for added comfort). M38 helmets with actual field use are very difficult to find.
