Ww2 U. S. Army Trousers M43 Airborne Paratrooper Reinforced Vintage. Orig
Up for sale original vintage WW2 U. ARMY AIRBORNE M42 TROUSERS WITH REINFORCED POCKETS AND KNEE AREA. They are made from 8 oz. Cotton twill cloth, in khaki colour. The pair features button fly, hip, seat and cargo pockets and slightly tapered ankles to make it easier to tuck them into the jump boots. These jump suits were gradually phased out and replaced by the M43 uniforms, however, these remained popular and the choice of many serving in Airborne units through to the end of the WW2. Off-white lining is stamped (pls see my photos). The size stamp is hard to read. The pair is in excellent condition, no rips or tears, few minor spots. Metal snaps show some rust features, still working perfectly. All buttons and snaps are presented. Clean, have musty smell due to the long time storage. I have shown the trousers to several so called "guru" exsperts. They believed that the pair is original. But if you have other opinion pls share it with me. I will appreciate this greatly.
