Antique original world war two imperial Japanese military hat. This was sent home by a WWII USMC fourth marine vet. It has a a decent visor and sweat band... It has a soldiers name tag or makers label sewn in the crown. Its interesting , in that you can see the cap was constructed with recycled Japanese news paper as an inner crown stiffener....

And then the marine vet added a page from an american newspaper to stiffen the sides! There is a piece of old green O. Wool material added in the back of the crown to make it more displayable, as if this were on exhibit somewhere in the distant past. It should look presentable on a shelve or display case. The WW2 united states marine vets name was dewyze from chicago , a heroic battle of iwo jima veteran.
