(J181) For sale here is a very good looking US WW2 Enlisted Overcoat that was Converted to a Jeep Coat. The conversion has been very nicely done, and I assume it was a tailor conversion. The coat is made from heavy coarse wool. The kind of wool found on an enlisted overcoat.
The coat has all yellow Lucite buttons, and they are all present. The coat has no interior markings other than the size mark of 36R in the collar. The coat has no interior pockets. The coat has a distinct brown color to the wool. The coat does show some soiling, wear, and a few tiny nips, but looks amazing.
