Original Wwii Army

Offered here is an original 1944-dated U. Army Air Corps pilot's identification wallet, complete with its original identification card. This is an interesting and increasingly difficult-to-find piece of World War II Army Air Forces personal equipment, representing the type of identification carried by American military aviation personnel during the war. The front of the wallet is marked "IDENTIFICATION CARD, AIR CORPS, UNITED STATES ARMY" and features a silver-colored pilot wing insignia prominently displayed in the center. The design is both distinctive and representative of the Army Air Corps during the wartime period.

Inside is the original identification card bearing the 1944 date, adding to the historical character and appeal of this offering. The wallet exhibits honest signs of age, use, and wear consistent with an original wartime item. Despite its used appearance, it remains in solid condition and displays nicely. The wear contributes to its authentic vintage character and serves as a reminder that this was the type of personal identification accessory associated with Army Air Corps personnel during World War II. Original military identification wallets of this type, particularly examples retaining their period identification cards, are always difficult to locate. This would make an excellent addition to a collection of Army Air Forces memorabilia, WWII pilot equipment, military identification items, or personal effects associated with American aviation history. An authentic 1944-dated Army Air Corps identification wallet and card-a scarce and historically appealing piece of WWII aviation memorabilia.
