Not sure how old this is, maybe 40s, maybe 50s. Definitely old and rips in the parts where you can see rips. Might be signs of dry rot. Army enlisted wool field jacket dated June 12, 1944. Manufactured by Sunshine Clothing Mfg. Under Quartermaster contract and issued through the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot. This jacket retains period-correct WWII insignia, including U. And Infantry crossed rifles collar discs, a Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), and a WWII-era 3rd Infantry Division shoulder patch.
