Soldier carried a half shelter (1/2). Two shelter would be joined up to form a tent. And the 2 1/2 has talk powder as protective from the year, and little dirty. THERE ARE NO PEGS AND NO POLES WITH THE TENTS. It has the original cord. I can find marking and numbers and the 2 x 1/2 the same factory AND THE SAME INSPECTOR and the same dated 1942. This is 100%GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC This tent 2 X (1/2) is approximately 81 years old, with a date of 1942, and is still in a good used condition. You can see that on the photo if you take a good look.
