And good hunting on the mainland of Europe. Excellent example of General Montgomery's message to troops before D-Day. The high-resolution scans are closer representations of the letter's color (brown) than the photos by camera. Passes no-glow black light test. This was included in the personal effects of (Lieutenant) Colonel Harold John Buckler (HJB) Keating of the Canadian Military. He was the Director of Transport Movement for the Canadian Military. This is an Original World War 2, M42, 11th Airborne Division Jacket and pants set. With Original Ribbons, Jump Wings and Patches. Ribbons do show signs of age, But the Uniform is in very good condition, no rips tears. Please see all pictures and question please ask.   

   Outstanding original WWII Army Air Forces correspondence archive consisting of approximately 150 handwritten letters and envelopes, kept together as a complete group. From the examples shown, the correspondence is associated with Cpl. , Army Air Forces, with material from locations including Yuma Army Air Field, Yuma, Arizona and Avon Park, Florida. One clearly visible Army Air Forces envelope carries an Avon Park, Fla. Several letters are written on attractive Yuma Army Air Field military letterhead. The jacket is dated 1941 and is a size 37XL, the pants have a 34" waist and a 35" inseam. The jacket retains none of it's buttons, and has a small stain on the lapel, it is also missing one of the waist belt hooks. The button up has some mothing and a period repair on the back of the left shoulder. The collar discs are screwback.   

   Offered is a complete vintage U. Army enlisted uniform set consisting of. Service coat (4-pocket, brass buttons). The uniform displays original insignia and period construction consistent with WWII-era U. The coat interior is marked with the name "Roy Nixon" along with service information (see photo). Researching the named soldier may enhance provenance. Even though it's faded, can clearly see. That construction and tag style are WWII era Quartermaster Corps, not modern repro.
