This is an original World War II U. Army officer's personal grouping belonging to Captain Frank H. Sterling silver ID bracelet engraved. Pair of brass Captain's bars (rank insignia). Brass officer lapel insignia pins. Background (brief historical context): I believe Frank H. Burrow was a Purdue University graduate (Class of 1941) from the Midwest, later associated with Topeka, Kansas. He served in the U. Army during World War II, with newspaper accounts placing him in the South Pacific theater by late 1943. The bracelet's engraving reflects his promotion to Captain during wartime service. ...

   This is an original WWII U. Army "Ike" field jacket in size 36 Regular, produced by Louis Goldsmith, Inc. Under contract dated April 11, 1945. The jacket features a complete and matching set of insignia, including the rare caduceus lapel disk and pin of the Medical Corps, the shoulder patch of the famed 1st Cavalry Division (the "First Team"), Technician 4th Grade chevrons, and a beautiful enamel DUI pin attributed to the 801st Medical Air Evacuation Squadron. WWII Army Air Corps Uniform Jacket & Patch Grouping CBI Named. The buttons and all of the pins were removed from the uniform jacket as you can see. Im not sure if every one of the buttons is accounted for, but what you see in the pic came with it when i got it. CBI made Air Corps Theater Made Patch was hanging by a thread on the jacket so i pulled it off. Named in the uniform, leather name tape, etc.   

Nice shape, chest pit to pit 19 inches.
