Ww2 Original Italian Army Lieutenant General's Peaked Cap
Original WW2 Italian Army Lieutenant General's Field Grey Peaked Cap (Berretto Grigioverde de Generale dell'Esercito). The Rank of Lieutenant General is indicated by the two silver bullion stripes around the top part of the cap band, above the General's braid. The cap is made of a grey green wool, with silver bullion piping, a silver bullion hat badge to the front, on red backing material, black leather chinstrap and two different metal chinstrap buttons. Has a Black leather peak, and brown leather interior sweatband. Has a brushed fawn coloured cotton interior lining.
Overall, the cap is in Very Good condition, with no obvious damage to any components, apart from some minor marks on the sweatband. The metal components are all non-magnetic, and apart from some age tarnishing, they are all in undamaged condition.
