RARE WWII Chinese Nationalist Army (KMT) Officer's Tunic - Republic of China Military Uniform, ca. This is a genuine high quality tailor made garment in olive drab wool for high ranking officers, complete with its original collar rank insignia - a highly desirable piece of Chinese military history from WW2. The tunic retains both original collar tabs in the standard ROC Army pattern: a gold/bronze rectangular base with two red stripes and two bronze rank stars, consistent with the rank of (Lieutenant Colonel) in the National Revolutionary Army rank system established under Chiang Kai-shek's military reforms of the 1930s. Both tabs are present and intact, with good color retention on the red enamel stripes. Material: Olive drab wool serge, medium weight - consistent with officer-grade fabric of the period. Cut: Four-pocket tunic with standing/fold-down collar, standard ROC officer pattern. Pockets: Two upper patch pockets with flap and single button closure; two lower bellows pockets with flap and single button closure. Buttons: Original brass dome buttons throughout - collar, front placket, and pocket flaps; consistent with ROC military issue.

Overall good+ condition for an 80+ year old combat-era garment. Natural age toning and light soiling consistent with period use and storage. Minor scattered wear spots on lining and fading around the left sleeve area. Hook closure at collar throat shows age patina. Collar tabs show expected age wear but retain strong visual presence. No major tears, significant moth damage, or repairs observed.
