US Army Special Services WWII wind up phonograph. Looks like it was never issued, just stored for over 70 years. Yes I played it, Needs to have the motor lubricated and cleaned properly I would imagine to make sure it is in top condition for entertaining the troops. Only has one needle, and I think it needs to be sharpened or replaced, as per the instructions, you should use a new needle for every V record, and regular records should have the needle replaced after 8 playings. This is basically a military version of the Phonola. Most likely dates to around 1941 to 1942. All of our items are as you see them. Please coordinate with us, if you cannot pay via Pay Pal.
