Wwii A. C. U. S Army Type B16 Magnetic Compass + Complete Nos Set 12 Envelopes

This recent find is from the Estate of a Retired Military Colonel who served in WWII / Korea as a NAVAL AVIATOR and finished his career with NASA (MSFC) and then Rockwell. This is a listing for a LOT OF 2 items. S ARMY TYPE B-16 COMPASS + One COMPLETE NEW and unused SET of 12 WWII "Keep'Em Smiling" HUMOROUS ENVELOPES (4 each of 3 different styles). Compass has been encased in wood for Display purposes and was obviously a special piece for him.
Envelope set is complete and never used with original band still around them and are copyrighted 1942 Chicago, ILL. Band has hole (likely where a price sticker was removed) and tape along a slit in the band - see picture 12. Envelopes show some aging, but printed colors are Excellent.
