World war two united states army paratroop drop bag. US Army Air Forces used these bags to re-supply military ground units by parachute. This canvas Container is basically a glorified duffel bag , reinforced with white parachute Harness webbing , this would have been attached to a cargo chute , some times , depending on the weight of the material in the bag , a separate bumper pad would have been attached to the bottom. These never come on the market. This came out of the estate of a D DAY 101 st airborne paratrooper. Dont pass it up -this is probably the only one you will have the chance to own , a must have for your WWII airborne collection.
