WWII US Army M-40 Denim Chore Jacket-UNWORN/Mint-Size 46. Width armpit to armpit: approx. Neck to hem: 26 1/2. Over arm sleep length: approx. Original US Army M-40 denim jacket. Dark blue with white stitching. Bronzed metal donut hole buttons.
2 patch pockets with button flaps. Label (inside right pocket): S. W-669-qm-12882 - Dated August 8, 1941 - Stock No. 55-C-72040 - Size 46 - Spec. 6-125B - Dated 8/7/40 - Phila.
This tag is stamped in red Phila. Depot - Charles Taylor (with middle initial illegible). Additionally there are 2 ink stamps to the interior of the jacket, one near the collar and one inside the front hem. Both appear to be an "X".
