   ARTIFACT: This is a fantastic, over-the-top World War II United States Army 773rd Tank Destroyer Battalion souvenir stein made in early Occupation Period in Germany. This stein is named to its original owner, Paul Notargiacomo, and has a nude figural handle. The front of the stein has a wonderful eagle holding a banner in its mouth that reads FIT VIAVI (Strength is the Way). The wires to the earphones have frayed insulation and the leather to the chin strap is cracked, but other than that it is in excellent condition. Original WW2 US Army Air Corps A-2 Leather Jacket Size 40R MFG Aero Leather. Has name and squadron patch removed. Needs to be restitched around left collar and around right pocket. Has Talon zipper (might be a replacement). There is no other damage to the leather. There is wear around collar that is normal for such an old jacket.    WW2 German Army Service Cap for Artillery. Made by the firm HPC (Herman Potthoff) this cap has the crown made from a doeskin material with a lovely saddle shape and sports this firms unique "frischluft" system of a 5 vents cockade with an inside flap to enable the air vent to be closed if required. The cap is in very good condition throughout, just a couple of moth nips and some tracking on the crown alongside some sweat staining inside, as shown on the photos. The leather sweatband has a velvet insert between the band and crown for a better fit plus a perforated pattern on the front....
