It has been washed at some time and the lable is unreadable, but it has been stamped with a number 6 to indicate the size. Original vintage WWII ANC Army Nurse Corps women's OD green service hat. It is a size 22 1/2. Overall, good wearable condition but it does have a few minor issues. It does not have the cap eagle and there are small holes where it was. The brim has some slight wear. It was not stored properly, so there is a slight crease on the front. The inside sweatband has some staining. The Knox logo on the inside of the hat is almost completely worn off (you can still see it if you look close enough - last picture). Original late WWII US Army airborne M1C helmet, with stainless rear-seam, placing this likely very late-1944, early 1945. Original and scarce radio receivers with correct Y-shape cable and PL-54 black plug and R-14 radio receiver. A small square pad has been inserted between the top of the leather liner and the crown (for added comfort). M38 helmets with actual field use are very difficult to find.
