One of the best designed military jackets of all time, this World War 2 Tanker Jacket was worn by Lt. Colonel William Hugh McWhorter Jr. McWhorter joined the Army Air Corps in 1939 and served until his death in 1949. Wounded in combat he was awarded the Purple Heart.    Here you have a WWII USAAF US ARMY AIRFORCE D-1 Mechanics Sheepskin Jacket. This is in amazing condition for its age. That said it's around 80 years old and has been worn in that time.
