Early 1940 Soviet Wwii Pu Scope For Svt-40 Sniper Rifle Russian Army Original
Notches on drums for aiming from SVT-40 (increased distance between 0 and 1). One of FIRST PU scopes designed and manufactured. Early production number 04339 (dates back to early 1940).
Consequently, this is one of the first PU scopes produced for SVT-40. Excellent condition of the body.
The scope was produced at the NKV plant No. 357 "Progress" in Leningrad before this plant was evacuated to Omsk city in August 1941 during the blockade of Leningrad by fascist troops. The scope kit includes an original cover and a cloth. Scope drums specifically for "SVT-40", with an increased distance at the risks between the first values (they are different for the Mosin rifle). There is a service stamp made in USSR Arsenal in 1967. Perfect condition for a scope that's 80 years old!
