Wwii U. S. Army Hbt Jacket 40r 1944 Powers Mfg Co. Od7 Herringbone Twill Field
Original World War II U. Army Herringbone Twill (HBT) jacket in size 40R. Manufactured by The Powers MFG Co. Under a 1944 dated contract P. 22873, dated May 4, 1944, with pattern date of July 15, 1943. This field shirt features classic OD7 herringbone twill fabric with stamped markings still visible inside. Button front closure, dual chest pockets, and all original buttons intact. Has one small hole (see picture).
Some light fading and minor signs of age from storage, consistent with vintage military surplus. A great example of wartime-issued gear, perfect for collectors, reenactors, or vintage fashion lovers.
Has all the star buttons. Jacket, Herringbone Twill, OD7, Special. 1944 1945 made by the powers company.
