WW2 US Army 2nd Engineers (Combat) this is a nice one from my collection. Look at all the pictures, Clean no mothing issues I see, Pants are size W31 x 35L. Early 1940 dated jacket, pants are late WW2. Nice insiginia, screwback distictive insigina. Jacket has early rear belt hooks. Looks to be issued a few times. Read the history of the battalion. Not sure how old this is, maybe 40s, maybe 50s. Definitely old and rips in the parts where you can see rips. Might be signs of dry rot. This uniform has been named and researched to James Deane Harris. James fought in WWII in the pacific theater and served in china at the end of the war. He also had an "EAME" ribbon with 4 bronze battle stars that were most likely taken off by the previous owner. The photo of the paper has all of the fine details of Mr Harris that I could find.
