Original Wwii Army

Army M-1943 field jacket with matching button-in liner and M-1943 hood. Dated 1944 with military specification tags still present. Classic olive drab cotton shell with waist drawstring, large cargo pockets, and knit collar liner. Spec dated 6/3/44 on hood tag. Button-in liner with knit collar. Good vintage condition overall with expected age and service wear. Some small spots, fraying, loose threads, and minor wear throughout consistent with authentic military use. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition details.   

Flaws include some fraying around the cuffs and paint splattering. Please expect normal signs of wear and use as this item is in vintage condition (20+ years old).   

Good but used vintage condition. There are white paint stains in the lining and on the left sleeve. There are a few small moth holes in the right shoulder, right armpit, and in the collar. The marksman pin is stamped sterling but the other pins are not. Please look through photos to get a good idea of over all condition. The jacket is stamped as a size 36 R. This is in the range of a men's small. Shoulder to Shoulder: 17.5.   

Chest pit to pit 21 inches, back length 29 inches.

Army enlisted wool field jacket dated June 12, 1944. Manufactured by Sunshine Clothing Mfg. Under Quartermaster contract and issued through the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot. This jacket retains period-correct WWII insignia, including U. And Infantry crossed rifles collar discs, a Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), and a WWII-era 3rd Infantry Division shoulder patch. Good but used vintage condition. The jacket has a few moth holes in the left sleeve, right side of the chest, right shoulder and middle back. The pants have few moth holes in the crotch, left thigh, and seat area. Please look through photos to get a good idea of over all condition. This jacket is labeled as a size 39R and the pants are labeled as a size 33x33. 39 is in the mid-range of a men's medium jacket. Waist: 16.5 " (Seam Allowance: 2.25").
