Still complete with the paper tag. The overall condition is very good with a little light staining from storage on the back along fold lines which I tried to photograph, but it is quite hard to see. The shorts appear to have a channel to accept a drawstring at the waist although there is not drawstring currently. These are most likely Wehrmacht or a similar government contract. There was a large variety of patterns and colors and materials used but blue was actually one of the common colors with many of the other sports outfits actually being a dark blue not black, everyone just assumes they were black because pictures are all black and white. This is a very nice example and it is always great to have a piece that is basically untouched since the war. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven't figured it out, so this is my best option at the moment.
