COLOR: Olive Drab Shade 7 (repairs in Olive Drab Shade 3 & Khaki). COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: United States. MATERIAL: 100% HBT Herringbone Twill Cotton. BUTTONS: Wreath buttons with a single star. ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS (in Inches): 18" Shoulders / 21" Chest / 24" Arms / 59" Overall Length.

STENCILS: The soldier's name and service number are stenciled on the right breast pocket and inside, around the collar. His rank (Staff Sergeant) is stenciled on both arms. DETAILS: These 1938 Model 1 coveralls are.

Designed with a bi-swing back, a belt, two breast pockets, two patch hip pockets, a watch pocket and one leg pocket. The right-hand breast pocket has a buttonless flap, a distinguishing feature of the 1938 pattern. CONDITION: These coveralls were combat issued and are heavily worn. There are several stains and multiple field repairs (mostly crotch & knees), and one button is missing on one leg (see pictures). Overall, these 1938 Model I Coveralls have a lot of character, but due to their distressed condition, they remain mostly a collector's or a fashion archive's item.
