Overall this item is in very good used condition; exhibiting only minor wear and some natural aging. Some damage to the cap (pictured) but it still screws on properly and the chain from the cap to the Canteen is still perfectly intact. Over 90% of the black enamel porcelain finish is still intact, with a few small rust spots visible (pictured). Clear white markings indicating US Govt Issue, date of Mfg and the name of Mfgr on the bottom of the Canteen (also pictured). OTM guarantees this item to be 100% Authentic and Absolutely Original.
