Original WWII Red Army Soldier ID - Destroyed German Tank & 20 Enemy Very Rare. He was a very brave Soldier leading an antitank gun. He destroyed one German Tank in 1944 along with 20 Fritzes. Medal "For Courage" - Translation. On 16 October 1943, in the area of [place name partly obscured], under heavy enemy artillery and machine-gun fire, Comrade showed exceptional bravery.

He was among the first to burst into the enemy trench, destroying up to 10 enemy soldiers with rifle and grenades. Despite the intense fire, he continued to advance and gave covering fire, enabling his unit to hold the captured line until reinforcements arrived. Rank/Position: [Faded, likely Rifleman or NCO]. Unit: 333rd Rifle Regiment, 118th Rifle Division, Order of the Red Banner, Suvorov Division. Award Recommended: Order of the Red Star.

Party Membership: Candidate member of the VKP(b) since 1944. Place of Birth: Sumy Oblast. In the Red Army Since: 1941.

Fronts Participated: Voronezh, 2nd Ukrainian Front. Earlier Awards: Medal "For Courage" (1944). On 14 August 1944, in the area of the village Rozhanka, Lublin Voivodeship, Comrade Reka, serving as gun commander of an anti-tank rifle platoon, displayed exceptional courage and bravery in battle against the German invaders. When enemy tanks, supported by infantry, launched a counterattack, Comrade Reka's squad met them with accurate fire. Personally, with well-aimed shots, he destroyed one enemy tank, suppressing its crew, and also eliminated up to 10 German soldiers. Thanks to his skillful leadership and personal example, the platoon successfully held its line and repelled the German attack. For the courage and bravery shown in this battle, Comrade Reka Arsentiy Mikhailovich is deserving of the Order of the Red Star. Signed: Commander of the 333rd Rifle Regiment.
