June 5th, 1945 German military document. Issued in Schwienhusen, north of Hamburg. June 5th is the date the Berlin Declaration was signed by the United States, USSR, Britain, and France, confirming the complete legal dissolution of Germany. The document was stored folded. The bottom vertical fold line is ripped all the way through, and there are small rips along all fold lines near the edges. It shows wear, usage, and light discoloration. Very scarce to find one of these in the original box and with the issuing paperwork. But, this one also has documentation showing it was awarded during WWII, in 1944.
