For sale here is a great looking US WW2 Era Wooden Ammo Chest Crate. The crate is for 210 rounds of linked. The box is very heavy and substantial with steel banding and carrying handles. All markings are legible and the Ordnance markings look great.
The box appears to have been lacquered at one time. The back side of the box is marked For Training Program Only. The bottom of the box shows some wear, wood loss, and some water damage. The inisde of the box is nice and clean.
