This is a rare, authentic U. Army M-1940 Denim Fatigue Jacket. Issued during the early years of WWII before the transition to Olive Drab HBT, these denim chore coats are highly sought after for their beautiful vertical slub grain and rugged construction. This specific piece features the classic ARCO A. Contractor stencil on the interior neck.
It retains its original black-tack metal buttons and showcases incredible "honeycomb" fading potential. Given its history in the CRC archives, this jacket was likely used in film or television production, adding a unique layer of Hollywood provenance to its military heritage.
