Own a truly one of a kind piece of American history. Originally owned by Calvin Ryder of Trempealeau, Wisconsin, this WW2 Military Flight Crew Bag was preserved by his family. The other side features the hand-painted name of Calvin Ryder with his hometown of Trempealeau, Wisconsin and the hand-painted image of Mount Fuji in Japan. The top features the hand-painted GHQ flag denoting the assignment to the South West Pacific Area (SWPA) Division of the United States Army (March 1942-Sept 1945), with Supreme Command held by General Douglas MacArthur. Approximate measurements of the bag are 9 in width (closed) by 25 in length by 20 in height to include the handle. The canvas is still firm, but not brittle.
