This is an original WW2 6th Corps, 100th Infantry Division Medic Ike Tunic for a technician 4th grade. This unit saw action in Sicily, Italy, France and Germany. Has the convex collar brass with US on one side and the medical collar brass on the other. Ribbon bar has American Campaign, European/African/Middle Eastern Campaign with one star and the WWII Victory Medal. Left Sleeve has 4 six-month bars and a 3-year service stripe and there is a Ruptured Duck patch over the right breast pocket. Tunic is dated May 1944. This is an authentic U. Army Pacific 7th Infantry Division wool field jacket from WWII. It's a green jacket with several pins and patches on it that are left over from the war. The red/black patch is US Army 7th Infantry. The blue patch with stars and red arrow is US Army Pacific (USARPAC). The chevron patch with a T is a Technician 5th Grade. I know nothing about the original owner. His tag is marked lyon, david k 31438001 t45 o p. This is all I could find in the estate. No info was given to me. The medals are unnamed and unnumbered. Bronze star and the military merit are slot brooch the legion of merit is crimped. I have a feeling the hat insignia might be theater made.
