Army Signal Corps photograph archive, photographed in Belgium in 1944. This archive includes 75 original black-and-white wartime photographs connected to the European Theater of Operations.
Many are marked SECRET on the image fronts and/or stamped CONFIDENTIAL - UNTIL RE-CLASSIFIED BY CENSOR on the reverse. Several backs include typed Signal Corps captions, dates, locations, and photographer credit. Liège / Alleur / Chênée, Belgium. POW labor captions, hospital captions, and military installation captions. Military hospital facilities, tent wards, medical/dental rooms, POW labor, buildings, roads, airfield/aircraft scenes, ruins, and Belgian wartime locations.
Some backs have typed captions, censor stamps, Velox paper marks, pencil numbers, or handwritten notes. Please review all photos carefully. I have not separated the individual images.
