Original Wwii Army

This is an exceptionally rare WWII Imperial Japanese Army winter helmet, used by tank crew members. Made of thick brown leather with fur lining, this helmet was designed to protect armored vehicle personnel from extreme cold during operations in Manchuria and Northern China. The inside features a well-preserved five-pointed star insignia, a symbol of the Imperial Army. The construction is rugged and the original chinstrap and interior padding remain intact-remarkably complete for its age.
Tank crew items are among the rarest Japanese militaria due to the small size of armored units and their heavy losses in the final years of the war. Few of these helmets survived intact.
