The M1939 overcoat was standard issue for U. Army enlisted personnel throughout World War II. Its heavy OD wool construction provided warmth in European winter campaigns, and the removable liner allowed soldiers to adapt to changing conditions. This example retains all original insignia and components, making it a strong representation of wartime enlisted outerwear.

Wool is strong and the coat is overall in very good vintage condition. A few small spots are present from age and storage, but no major holes, tears, or structural damage noted. Liner is intact with expected WWII-era wear.
