US Ike Jacket - 8th Army Air Forces. Condition: Excellent, with no missing or broken buttons, tears/rips, mothing, or even small holes other than a single pinhead sized hole on the back of the right sleeve. This jacket is the M-1944 Ike jacket, and is dated December 1945 on the inside pocket tag. The patches indicate it would have been worn by a Technical Sergeant of the 8th Air Forces! It is marked a size 36R on the tag and t. He sleeve length is 23", the length from the bottom of the collar to the hem is 25 1/2", and the width across the back at the armpits is 17. Good but used vintage condition. The jacket has a few moth holes in the lapel and back near the armpits. The shirt has a few very small scattered moth holes. The pants have a small stain on the left knee area, and a few small moth holes near the creases. All pieces in this uniform came from the same source but have different dates of manufacture. It's possible that the service member had a number of pieces issued at different times and these were the ones that were kept together.
