This is a nice and very rare NOS M-4 gunners flack helmet. This was used by WWII bomber crews and replaces the steel pot style flack helmets. It is designed to fit over a soft flight helmet with the head phones. This has some storage wear and will need a little dusting off. One of the inner ear flaps has a stain from long term storage. (see picture) The leather is in excellent condition. This has been in very long term storage and is just now coming out. This is one of the nicest NOS originals you will find.    This is a pair of mint, unissued, unused bundle of 10 pairs of wool trigger finger mittens, dated May 15, 1943. These mittens are described in the US Army Quartermaster Catalog of 1943 as Mittens, Insert, Trigger Finger, Type 1, Stock No. 73-M-2735 Large 73-M-2740 Medium, A knitted wool liner to be worn inside mitten-shell, trigger finger, type 1, to form a cold climate hand wear assembly.    This is an original, named, 1943 U. Marine Corps (USMC) WWII fixed bail M1 helmet with a mid-WWII Westinghouse helmet liner. The fixed bail helmet shell and the liner are an original set and have been together since they were issued to a US WWII GI. The GI wrote his name and full Army Serial Number (ASN) neatly in ink inside the helmet shell.    Up for sale original vintage WW2 U. ARMY AIRBORNE M42 TROUSERS WITH REINFORCED POCKETS AND KNEE AREA. They are made from 8 oz. Cotton twill cloth, in khaki colour. The pair features button fly, hip, seat and cargo pockets and slightly tapered ankles to make it easier to tuck them into the jump boots. These jump suits were gradually phased out and replaced by the M43 uniforms, however, these remained popular and the choice of many serving in Airborne units through to the end of the WW2.
