This is a rare and original WW2 Type B RAF Flying Helmet, also known as a RAAF WWII Leather Pilot Hat. The helmet was worn by pilots during World War II, specifically by those flying fighter bomber planes. It is a highly sought-after collectible item for militaria enthusiasts and history buffs alike. It is an original item, not a reproduction, and was manufactured in the United Kingdom. The helmet is in excellent condition and is a must-have for any serious collector of field gear and equipment from this period of history.
