The compass mounted on a drab green board & used at the navigator's station on many US WWII aircraft. Made by the Bendix Aviation co. Eclipse Pioneer Division, part number 1833-1-A, serial number prefix AF43 -5958 indicating manufacture in 1943. Dimensions - 4 1/2" deep x 3" in diameter.
