100% Genuine Ww2 Japanese Army Military Officer Gunto Sword. Signed Emura Saku
Sword tang is chisel signed " Emura Saku" (Emura made this). Also known as Chounsai Emura and he made swords as a hobby! Emura was a director Okayama Prison. He utilized inmates or prison labor to. Help him polish and produce swords during WW2. Listed in John Slough's book page 28. Cutting edge is a little over 25 and half inch. Entire sword in scabbard is 41 inch. Blade is traditional hand forged with active gunome choji (wavy temper line)! Very active yokote and kissaki point!
There is no crack, no rust, no stain, no bend, and definitely no fatal flaw! Scabbard is heavy metal with no dent retaining more than 70% of the original paint! Tsuba and four piece seppas stamped number 33. Tsuka ito is tight fit with genuine ray skin wrap! Emura blades have received Hozon origami from the NBTHK in Japan. Emura blades have also received Shinteisho and Kanteisho origami from the NTHK. This confirms that Emura blades are judged to be true gendaito.
