100% Genuine Ww2 Japanese Army Military Officer Gunto Sword Signed Nobufusa
You have found a 100% Genuine WW2 Japanese Army Officer sword! Also known as Type 98 Shin Gunto. Sword is cursive chiselled signed. Nobufusa's real name is Takahashi Nobufusa. He became Mukei Bukazai (Intangible Cultural Asset) of the Miyagi prefecture in November 1967.
Very thick and superbly traditional hand forged with. Gunome saka choji (nie and noie).
There's no rust, no stain, no bend, no crack and no fatal flaw! Generally very clean and minty condition!!
Blade itself weighs a little over 2 lb! Scabbard is heavy metal with no dent and no bend and shows minor aged lacquer loss. Scabbard retains more than 80% of it's original paint! Tsuba with four seppes stamped 512 with natural patina!
Tsuka ito is tight fit, no loose and no cut with genuine ray skin wrap! Everything on this sword is intact. An extremely rare piece by Takahashi Nobufusa!
