12 WWII US Army Radio Operator. Army Radio Man (RTO)'sixth scale' action figure set (#21263 12-inches tall). This is a BRAND NEW'NOS' (New Old Stock) set in an unopened, original factory package, originally issued in 2004 , and has NO significant flaws -- the figure & accessories have never been removed, played with, or displayed ("MIB / NIB / NRFB - NRFP"). Box is in'Near Mint' condition, with bright inks, glossy surfaces, and very light, if any , shelf wear -- Please refer to our series of product reference photos for specific details (unboxed images from our personal collection). This item has been stored in a smoke-free/pet-free environment for the last 12 years.

BBi developed "Sparky" in partnership with Osprey Publishing, "the foremost authority in illustrated military history, " and includes a special 8-page color booklet by Gordon Rottman entitled, US Army Radio Operator in World War II. The figure is based DIRECTLY on an illustration in the book by Osprey artist Richard Hook, portraying a radio telephone operator from the 29th Infantry Division, Roer Valley, Germany, 1944, however, he's outfitted in standard U. Army gear found throughout WWII, circa 1944-45, in the ETO, and beyond.
