Named Wwii Lot Us Army Airborne Infantry Medals Paratrooper Patches Engraved Gcm
Named lot of WWII airborne items all found together. Everything looks like it has been displayed together in a shadowbox for a long time. Only one medal, the good conduct medal, is engraved with the name Ralph D. I have no further information on that veteran, unfortunately. The medals all appear to be postwar replacement medals, however all of the patches are original.
The ground forces patch does have a green back. The 7th Service command patch is embroidered on wool / felt. The large blue PX patch is also wool / felt. The blue airborne cap patch is on twill. The 1st Service Command patch had two corners cut off, for unknown reason. The medals do include a WWII Victory Medal, WWII Asiatic Pacific campaign medal, WWII Army of Occupation medal with Japan bar, and Army Good Conduct medal.
