   Named lot of WWII airborne items all found together. Everything looks like it has been displayed together in a shadowbox for a long time. Only one medal, the good conduct medal, is engraved with the name Ralph D. I have no further information on that veteran, unfortunately.    Vintage WWII 1943 US Army M1937 Wool Flannel Shirt 2nd Infantry Division Indianhead Patch. The internal markings clearly date this garment's manufacture to 1943, placing it squarely in the middle of the war. This is an excellent piece of history for collectors, reenactors, or military enthusiasts. The shirt is identified as the standard issue M1937 pattern, officially designated SHIRTS, FLANNEL, O. Good but used vintage condition. There are white paint stains in the lining and on the left sleeve. There are a few small moth holes in the right shoulder, right armpit, and in the collar. The marksman pin is stamped sterling but the other pins are not. Please look through photos to get a good idea of over all condition. The jacket is stamped as a size 36 R. This is in the range of a men's small. Shoulder to Shoulder: 17.5.   

Army enlisted wool field jacket dated June 12, 1944. Manufactured by Sunshine Clothing Mfg. Under Quartermaster contract and issued through the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot. This jacket retains period-correct WWII insignia, including U. And Infantry crossed rifles collar discs, a Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), and a WWII-era 3rd Infantry Division shoulder patch.
