Original Wwii Army

This is an original, WW2 era M43 US army jacket that has some small flaws that contribute, however, to its great vintage look. Like many original jackets, the internal draw string is long gone. Size tag 40 R, no manufacturing tag. I would size this for the avoidance of doubt as a 42 R. Size and condition are very rare, I had to search long and hard for the large sizes in my collection which I could also use for reenactments on the original Battle of the Bulge battlefields around Bastogne.

I hand picked it at a military market in the Belgian Ardennes from a Belgian dealer in original US WW2 uniforms. Well worn, soft cotton feel, exactly what contributes to the vintage look. Can be worn for everyday wear and reenactments. Collar seam to sleeve end measures about 30 inches.
