Original WWII US Army Cap, Field, Pile, O. The winter pile cap adopted in 1943 as part of the M1943 cold-weather uniform system. Wind-resistant, water-repellent olive drab poplin shell over a full alpaca/wool "pile" lining, with a flexible visor that wears up or down and long pile-lined ear flaps that fold down and tie under the chin for extreme cold. Owned by myself for the last 15 years now downsizing my collection of military uniforms. This is a heavy olive drab wool US WWII Trench Coat. Double breasted buttons are metal Size 40 Slight imprint of an old patch on right arm otherwise in excellent condition. Please see photos as show condition and are part of description.

WWII Era US Army M1940 Cavalry Three Buckle Boots - Dtd 1946, Size 7D - NICE.
