Wwii Us Army 34th Inf Div Tank Driver's Uniform & Gear Group With Service History
I HAVE ADJUSTED THE PRICE SUBSTANTIALLY. Original set of US Field uniform and gear worn by a " track driver " (euphemism for tank operator) in one of the Armored squadrons in the 34th Infantry Division, the " Red bulls " Army National Guard division first to land in the ETO in 1943. All items came from the family of the gentleman inside a cedar chest, NOT included. OD wool with the notorious " gas flap " and all buttons present. 34th INF DIV shoulder patch. Approximately a size 15 1/2.
Excellent serge-wool field trousers in very good condition. No rips, tears or soiling. They still have their original khaki belt still in them. There is a laundry tag on the inside lining. M1938 Mess kit pouch & tin.
Early khaki cover with OD trim. Exc shape, with 1942 dated messkit, hard to make out. Original spoon & fork utensils also included.
Still in good condition with no holes. Unsure which specific armored vehicle it is for (Either a Sherman, self-propelled gun carriage, Greyhound or other tracked vehicles).
Standard-issue brown wool service cap. Interestingly, piped to Chemical Corps perhaps a Gas company in an Armored BN? 34th Inf Division veteran items with extensive service history.
