This is an extremely rare original 1936 Imperial Japanese Army manual for the Type 92 Heavy Machine Gun ("Ninety-Two Shiki Juuki Kikanju" in Japanese), the standard heavy machine gun of the Japanese Army during WWII. Issued in the 11th year of Showa (1936) by the military-approved publisher "123-kan Bookstore, " this manual features over 45 technical diagrams and illustrations. The manual covers the assembly, maintenance, operation, and tactical use of the weapon, complete with highly detailed fold-out schematics. These manuals were distributed to Imperial Army machine gun crews, squad leaders, and instructors across various theaters, including Manchuria and China, as Japan expanded its military operations before and during WWII.
